Aston Villa and Brighton target Samuel Iling-Junior could continue at Juventus beyond the end of the winter transfer window.

The 20-year-old winger has been heavily linked with a move away from Juventus in the ongoing transfer window.

He has been linked with a host of Premier League sides, including Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United, while Aston Villa and Brighton also hold an interest in him.

The winger has been unhappy about the lack of regular minutes this season but that has changed a bit over the last couple of weeks.

According to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport (via Tutto Mercato), there is more of a chance of the Iling-Junior staying at Juventus beyond the winter window.

He scored a big goal in Juventus’ 2-1 win away at Salernitana on Sunday, which kept just two points behind league leaders Inter Milan.

The performance is claimed to have changed the chatter around the Englishman’s immediate future at Juventus.

With no serious offers still on their table, Juventus are now likely to keep hold of him until the end of the season.

That could still be a change if a club decide to fork out €20m for Iling-Junior before the end of the window.
