Crystal Palace are interested in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Oliver Skipp, but he is not likely to be available this month, according to The Athletic.

The 23-year-old midfielder has been a bit-part player in Ange Postecoglou’s side and has made just two starts in the Premier League this season.

Skipp is rated highly at several Premier League clubs and he is again attracting interest in the ongoing winter transfer window.

He is believed to be keen on playing regular minutes and he has suitors who would be keen to sign him this month.

Palace have their eyes on him and are interested in taking him to Selhurst Park in the winter transfer window.

But it has been claimed that he is unlikely to be available for a move this month despite his lack of game time.

Postecoglou does not want to weaken his squad, especially in midfield, given Tottenham’s injury problems.

Skipp is still rated highly at Tottenham and the Australian wants to keep hold of him until at least the end of the season.

The midfielder also has more than three years left on his contract and Spurs do not want to give up on him yet.
