Sunderland have the funds to make a lucrative wage offer for Kieffer Moore if Bournemouth are prepared to loan him out this month, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

The 31-year-old striker is a bit-part player in Andoni Iraola’s squad and has played just ten minutes of Premier League football since November.

He has several suitors in the Championship where Norwich City and Cardiff City are interested in getting their hands on him.

Sunderland are also interested in the forward but Bournemouth are not sure about losing him.

The Black Cats want him on loan and it has been claimed that they have the funds to offer him good wages in the Championship.

Sunderland want to sign a striker and Moore is very much a player who is on their shortlist of targets.

If Bournemouth do agree to a loan then Sunderland would be able to make a sizeable play for his signature.

Sunderland are waiting for the tide to turn and have the funds to put in a good wage offer for the striker.
