Charlton Athletic midfield star George Dobson is attracting interest from a club abroad, according to the South London Press.

Dobson is in a strong position to dictate his future at the start of 2024 as he has now entered the final six months of his contract at the Valley.

The midfielder joined the Addicks from Sunderland in the summer of 2021 and the club would like him to sign a fresh deal.

Dobson has managed to establish himself as one of the most important players for Charlton, but the Addicks have so far failed with two offers of a new deal.

He now is attracting interest from a club abroad and could sign a pre-contractual agreement if he chooses.

It has been claimed that the interested side could be from Hungary.

Charlton may have a decision to make if a club approach them to do a deal for Dobson in this month’s transfer window.

Dobson has played his football outside England before, having enjoyed a stint on the books in the Netherlands at Sparta Rotterdam.
