League One leaders Portsmouth are not in the race to sign young striker Jude Soonsup-Bell from Tottenham Hotspur, according to the BBC.

John Mousinho is yet to make any signings this month, though he has revealed that his side are working on a “few different options”.

The Pompey boss is currently wrestling with a downturn in form for his side and a fresh face could lift the mood.

Soonsup-Bell has been mooted as a possible target, but Portsmouth do not have the Tottenham attacker on their list.

Portsmouth are not currently looking at taking Soonsup-Bell, a former Chelsea youngster, to Fratton Park.

Pompey have lost their last two league games back to back, with the latest a 3-0 shock loss at Fratton Park to Leyton Orient.

They will bid to get back on track when they visit Charlie Adam’s Fleetwood Town at the weekend.

All eyes will be on whether Portsmouth have any new faces in their squad by then.
