Manchester United are unlikely to want to match Lille’s asking price for Leny Yoro either this month or the summer transfer window.
A product of the Lille academy, the 18-year-old centre-back has played beyond his years this season and has been one of the first names on the team-sheet at the Ligue 1 side.
His performances this term have catapulted him to the status of one of the best young defensive talents in world football at the moment.
Manchester United have been keeping tabs on the young defender but it seems unlikely they will meet Lille’s demands any time soon.
According to German outlet Fussball News, Lille want a fee of €80m to €90m this month if they are to sell the teenage centre-back in the ongoing window.
The price will come down if they wait until the summer but Lille still want around €50m to €60m in the next transfer window.
Manchester United are in no mood to match the asking price for Yoro in January or the summer transfer window at the moment.
All eyes will be on if the situation changes as Manchester United are expected to have the cash for a squad overhaul in the summer under Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
The young defender is also wanted at Barcelona and is on the radar at a host of top sides.
