Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga’s next loan move this month is to be within the UK, with talks with interested clubs ongoing.

The 24-year-old defender joined Augsburg on loan last summer but never played a single minute of football in Germany.

Tottenham are set to recall him from the loan deal and he will soon be leaving the German club in the ongoing window.

He is not part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans at Spurs and they are already in the process of finding a new loan club for the centre-back.

According to German outlet Fussball Transfers, his next loan club will be within the UK.

Spurs and the player’s representatives are keen for Tanganga to remain in England for the latter half of the season.

He has already attracted interest from a few clubs and talks are ongoing behind the scenes between Spurs and his suitors.

Tanganga and Tottenham are likely to seek guarantees over regular minutes before signing off on another loan deal this month.
