Port Vale remain keen on acquiring the signature of Bradford City star Jake Young, according to the Yorkshire Post.
Bradford sent out the 22-year-old striker on a season-long loan to Swindon Town last summer.
Young turned heads with his performances for the League Two side, where he scored 16 times in 22 appearances.
The Bantams have recalled Young by ending his loan spell at Swindon and the player is attracting interest from several clubs.
League One outfit Port Vale want to boost their attacking options this month and have been linked with Young.
Bradford have already turned down a bid for Young in the ongoing window from an unnamed club.
And it has been claimed that Port Vale are still keen on signing the 22-year-old in the January window.
Port Vale’s League One rival Carlisle United are also in the hunt for Young, but Paul Simpson admitted that they will not meet Bradford’s asking price for the forward.
