Former Rangers winger Ryan Kent turned down an approach made by Hull City in the last 48 hours of the winter transfer window.

Kent left Rangers after the expiry of his contract at Ibrox to join Turkish outfit Fenerbahce in the summer.

However, the winger has failed to make an impact for the Turkish Super Lig club and Fenerbahce want him to go.

Fenerbahce have been trying to offload Kent and tried again on the day that the transfer window closed in a number of European countries.

Hull made a late play to try to tempt Kent to return to England.

However, according to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Kent rejected the idea of a late move to Hull.

Lazio agreed to a deal with Fenerbahce to sign Kent, but could not take him to Italy.

Kent could still leave Fenerbahce in the coming days if he goes to a country where the transfer window remains open.
