Leeds United manager Daniel Farke is not surprised by Swansea City’s win over Hull City and has stressed that the Swans will have nothing to lose when they host his side on Tuesday night.

The Whites are on a terrific run of form, which has taken them within one point of the Championship’s automatic promotion spots.

Leeds have won their last six on the trot and will take on a Swansea side who beat Hull on Saturday away from home.

The Welsh side were on a poor run of form ahead of the win at Hull, but Farke is not surprised as he stressed that they have been playing well and getting back to winning form was only a matter of time.

He is expecting a tough night out in Wales for Leeds on Tuesday as he insisted that Swansea are not the team under pressure and they will have nothing to lose when the two sides meet.

Farke said in a press conference when asked if he was surprised by Swansea’s win at Hull: “Not surprised because they are in poor form for results, but I like what they were doing on the pitch.

“It’s a brave side, a good possession side with clear principles and processes. For me, it was a question of when they would win and not if.

“They will go into this game with confidence and against Leeds United they have nothing to lose.

“They can play with freedom. It will be a difficult task.”

Leeds beat Swansea 3-1 in the reverse fixture at Elland Road in November.
