Former Rangers star Gordon Dalziel has revealed that he still believes Celtic will eventually win the Scottish Premiership this season.

Rangers will go top of the Scottish Premiership table on goal difference if they beat Ross County by a three-goal margin at Ibrox tonight.

Philippe Clement’s side have momentum in the title race while Celtic have come under pressure from their own fans for some of their recent performances.

However, the Bhoys are still unbeaten in nine matches and Dalziel is still not ready to change his prediction from the start of the season.

The former Rangers star believes Celtic have the manager and the players to pip Rangers to the Scottish Premiership title despite Clement’s team looking like the in-form team.

Dalziel said on Clyde 1’s Superscoreboard: “I tipped Celtic, at the beginning, to win the league.

“And I am staying with that because they have important players to come back.

“I think it will be very tight because Rangers have a great opportunity to go top of the league and put some pressure on them.

“But I think with the players, the manager and everything they have got, I think they will just pip them.”

Celtic did beat Rangers in the last Glasgow derby and two more league games are scheduled to take place between the two teams this season.
