Aberdeen boss Neil Warnock has revealed that Leeds United’s Daniel Farke is one of his favourite managers.

Farke was handed the reins at Elland Road last summer as Leeds looked for someone with a proven track record of winning promotion from the Championship.

The German currently has Leeds sitting in second spot in the table and on course for a speedy return to the Premier League.

Warnock, a former Leeds boss himself, is now plying his trade in Scotland with Aberdeen.

The Dons boss keeps a close eye on events down south though and admits Farke is one of his favourite managers.

Warnock said on talkSPORT: “I like Daniel as well. He’s one of my favourite managers.

“I would love to see him do well there. They’re massive.

“It would be good to see them back in because they were poor last time they were in.”

Warnock is looking to guide Aberdeen into a top six spot before the split in the Scottish Premiership this season.

The experienced boss saw his men recover from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with Motherwell earlier this week.
