Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski has admitted it is difficult to not be involved in the Champions League.

Spurs were involved in the Champions League last season after managing a fourth placed finish under Antonio Conte the previous campaign.

They have no European football this term though and are facing a battle to qualify for next season’s Champions League with a host of clubs looking like scrapping for fourth place.

Kulusevski admits that it is difficult to turn on the TV and see other teams playing Champions League football.

The Swede is staying positive, but is desperate to be back in Europe’s blue ribbon competition soon.

“It’s the worst thing seeing those games and you are not playing”, Kulusevski explained to the Sun.

“You try to be positive and with your family.

“As a player you want to be on the biggest stage.”

Three of Tottenham’s final five league games this season see them meeting Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool, at a time when collecting points for a top four finish will likely be critical.
