Manchester United and Chelsea have put out feelers for Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi with a view to potentially taking him to England in the summer.

Inzaghi took Inter to the Champions League final last season and his side are dominating Serie A in the ongoing campaign.

The 47-year-old coach’s stock has been on the rise and his impressive Inter side have captured the imagination of several observers.

A move to the Premier League has been mooted and there are now suggestions that work is under way to potentially take him to England.

According to Italian daily Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.it), Manchester United and Chelsea have put in enquiries for the Inter coach.

New Manchester United minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has remained non-committal on keeping Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford beyond the end of the season.

Chelsea are insistent that they are still backing Mauricio Pochettino but patience could be running thin in west London.

The two Premier League clubs could be in the market for a new manager at the end of the season and Inzaghi is in their sights.

The Italian is likely to earn much more in England than the current €5.5m contract he has at Inter.
