Borussia Dortmund are pushing hard to get a deal done quickly to beat West Ham United to the signature of Serhou Guirassy this summer.

Guirassy has scored 28 goals in as many Bundesliga appearances this season and finished just behind Harry Kane in the Golden Boot race.

His goalscoring powers have turned heads across Europe and a €17.5m release clause in his VfB Stuttgart contract makes him a hot property this summer.

West Ham are eyeing signing him in the approaching transfer window; a former Germany international told us that Guirassy would thrive in the Premier League.

However, according to German daily the Ruhr Nachrichten (via Fussball Transfers), Dortmund are pressing ahead with an attempt to sign the forward this summer.

The Bundesliga giants want a goalscorer in the next transfer window and Guirassy has emerged as a big target.

Dortmund are pushing to make sure that they get a deal done quickly for the signature of the Stuttgart striker, amid competition from the Hammers.

They have been in constant touch with the player and Dortmund deal-maker Sven Mislintat has a good relationship with the striker from his time at Stuttgart.
