Graham Potter ‘would take’ the Manchester United job if it was offered to him this summer, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

Potter has remained out of work since leaving Chelsea and is considering his next move closely.

He has been offered several jobs, but it is suggested the reason that Potter has delayed his return is that he has his eyes set on the England job.

The Three Lions post may be available after Euro 2024 and Potter would like the post if that is the case.

Potter though would put off waiting for England if Manchester United come calling.

It is claimed that the former Chelsea boss ‘would take’ the Old Trafford job if he is asked to do so.

Brighton are interested in taking Potter back to the south coast, while Leicester City are keen to speak to him.

Potter however wants the England job, with only Manchester United able to convince him to end that wait now and take a post.
