PSV Eindhoven are closing in on a deal to sign Leeds United and Rangers target Couhaib Driouech in the ongoing transfer window.
The winger is expected to move on from Excelsior, who have been relegated, this summer following a solid last season.
The Moroccan has attracted the interest from Leeds United and also Rangers and he has also been on the radar of Sevilla.
Sporting Lisbon have also been pushing to sign him but PSV have a clear edge in the race to sign Driouech.
According to the Dutch daily the Eindhovens Dagblad, PSV are close to reaching an agreement for the winger’s signature.
The Dutch giants are set to pay a fee of €3.5m, which would make the departure of Driouech a record sale in Excelsior’s history.
A formal agreement is still not in place between the two clubs but that is expected to be only a matter of time.
Driouech has also looked at other offers but his preference has always been to stay in the Netherlands going forward.
