Hammarby have secured a sell-on clause and add-ons in the agreement to let goalkeeper Oliver Dovin move to Coventry City.
Coventry have been in talks to sign the shot-stopper from the Swedish side in recent weeks.
They now have an agreement in place with Hammarby and Dovin is expected to soon travel to England to be put through his medical paces.
According to Swedish outlet FotbollDirekt, the deal is worth about £1.6m, however add-ons worth £870,000 have been included.
Furthermore, Hammarby have included a sell-on clause set at 15 per cent in the agreement.
The deal is a highly lucrative one for the Swedish side and also hands Dovin the chance to test himself in the English Championship at Coventry.
He will depart Hammarby having made 84 appearances for the club and kept 28 clean sheets.
Dovin will now look to knuckle down at Coventry over the course of pre-season and impress boss Mark Robins.
