Nottingham Forest will put Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic through a medical today ahead of completing his signing, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The 26-year-old centre-back is set to move to the Premier League for Serie A in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Nottingham Forest were in talks with Fiorentina and eventually found a breakthrough in negotiations with the Serie A club on Tuesday.
A deal is now in place between the two clubs for the defender to move to the City Ground on a permanent deal.
It has been claimed that the defender will undergo a medical at Nottingham Forest later today as the club look to finalise his arrival.
Personal terms are not expected to be a problem and the Forest are now in the final stages of signing the Serbian.
Once Milenkovic successfully passes a medical, he will sign a long-term contract with the Premier League side.
Forest have agreed to pay a fee of €12m to Fiorentina and another €2m to €3m in add-ons as part of the deal between the two clubs.
