Premier League clubs have been looking at West Ham United and Leicester City linked Arthur Melo, but it is Como who are making a big push for the Brazilian.
Arthur has been left out of Juventus’ training camp and is training alone as he bids to stay fit ahead of a possible move.
Juventus are keen to offload the Brazilian midfielder, who was on loan at Fiorentina last term, and he does have interest.
According to Italian daily Tuttosport, Premier League clubs have been on Arthur’s trail – he has been linked with Leicester and West Ham – but without making a move yet.
It is newly promoted Como who are trying to convince Arthur, with intense talks in recent days.
Arthur is not warm about the idea of moving to Como as he had joining a more prestigious club on his mind.
He has also greeted an approach from Brazilian side Gremio with little enthusiasm.
Arthur’s agent is currently looking around to gather his client’s options and it remains to be seen if a return to the Premier League is, eventually this summer, one of them.
The Brazilian favours another crack at the Premier League.
