La Liga outfit Sevilla are currently not in negotiations with Burnley for the signature of defender Ameen Al-Dakhil.

The 22-year-old defender joined the Clarets in January last year and missed a big chunk of the last season due to an injury.

New Burnley boss Scott Parker is continuing to shape his squad and it has been suggested in some quarters that Al-Dakhil could be on his way out of Turf Moor very soon.

He is primarily a centre-back, but he can play as a full-back as well, and his versatility is attractive.

Al-Dakhil was linked with Spanish outfit Sevilla regarding a move away, but according to Spanish outlet El Sevillista, the La Liga side are not in talks with the Clarets man.

Sevilla are not trying to land the Clarets defender at the moment, although one club elsewhere are.

Al-Dakhil is suggested to be closing in on a move to German side Stuttgart.

It has been claimed that the Burnley man was in Germany on Tuesday to push the move further to completion.
