Erling Haaland told Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta to ‘stay humble’ after the 2-2 draw Manchester City played out with the Gunners on Sunday.

A fiery Premier League encounter at the Etihad Stadium saw Arsenal reduced to ten men before half time, but hanging on to a 2-1 lead deep into stoppage time at the end of the game.

Manchester City defender John Stones eventually made the breakthrough for the hosts as it ended 2-2 between two teams expected to fight for the Premier League title.

Angry words were exchanged at full-time and Haaland was seen telling Arteta to ‘stay humble, stay humble’ before he was then confronted by Gabriel Jesus.

Haaland then dubbed Jesus a ‘clown’ and as Jack Grealish came between the two of them.

The lack of love lost between the two teams promises to set up the reverse fixture between the two clubs this season, when Manchester City head to the Emirates Stadium.

That is due to happen at the start of February.

Last season Manchester City won the league and were two points ahead of Arsenal, losing just three games, while Arsenal lost five matches.
