One of Liverpool’s out on loan stars has admitted he is currently loving every single minute of his loan spell and just wants to play games.
Liverpool decided to let a number of players go out on loan over the course of the summer window, including Calvin Ramsay, Stefan Bajcetic and Ben Doak.
Luke Chambers also departed after having impressed last season on loan with Wigan Athletic and the Liverpool and the Latics agreed a fresh loan.
The Liverpool loanee has established himself as a regular starter in Shaun Maloney’s starting line-up and has started every league game so far for them.
Chambers has played a key role in helping Wigan keep four straight clean sheets and admitted that he is enjoying his loan spell.
The Reds starlet stressed that he loves pulling on the Wigan shirt and revealed his intention to play as many games as possible.
When asked about whether he is enjoying putting on the Wigan shirt, he told Latics TV: “Yes, I love it.
“I love every minute of it. Love every game and every time I put it [the shirt] on.
“[I am] just excited to play more.”
The 20-year-old centre-back is highly rated at Liverpool and he will be hoping to impress Arne Slot with his performances this season to get into his plans for next season.
