Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc feels that his team didn’t get the result that their play deserved against Chelsea last night.
The reigning French champions hosted Jose Mourinho’s side in the first leg of their Champions League tie at the Parc des Princes last night. Chelsea approached their away fixture with caution, playing tightly at the back.
A header by Branislav Ivanovic in the 36th minute of the match put the visitors ahead before a second half strike by Edinson Cavani draw the scores level. But Chelsea took home an all-important away goal.
Blanc believes that the end result doesn’t do justice to his team’s gutsy display and they deserved better from the match.
“I don't think we got the result we deserved after this evening's match”, Blanc was quoted as saying by the club website.
