France and Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane has revealed that in spite of all the buzz surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, he has a special fascination with Chelsea forward Eden Hazard's style of play.

Zidane, who took part in the Match Against Poverty organised by the United Nations Development Programme in Saint-Etienne yesterday, insists that the Belgian is a player who has a lot of technical qualities and Zidane on his part has been continuously keeping an eye on the Chelsea player's progress over the last few years.

Los Blancos' reserve team boss added that while it is great to see Ronaldo and Messi achieve new feats with every passing game, it is also nice to see what Hazard has been consistently doing for the Pensioners in the Premier League.

The 24-year-old has in fact managed a total of 13 league goals in 32 matches for Jose Mourinho's team already this season, having also provided his team-mates with eleven assists.

"Obviously, there is Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, both of whom are spectacular, but I like Eden Hazard more", Zidane was quoted as saying by Maxifoot.

"I like everything he does on the field. I like his behaviour, his decisiveness and love to see his progress every year.

"There is still scope for further progress though, and if Chelsea are to win the league this season, Eden will have had a lot to do with it."

Hazard in fact scored Chelsea's only goal in their 1-0 win against Manchester United at the weekend, a win that took them one step closer to winning the title for the first time in five years.
