Jose Mourinho has taken a swipe at Iker Casillas, following Chelsea’s 2-0 Champions League win over FC Porto last night.

The pair famously fell out during Mourinho’s stint at Real Madrid, after the Portuguese benched the goalkeeper.

Despite Mourinho leaving Los Blancos in 2013, Casillas failed to nail a regular starting spot at his boyhood club under Carlo Ancelotti and the Spaniard left for Porto in the summer.

Last night’s result helped Chelsea to reach the knockout rounds of the Champions League, while Porto finished third and ended up in the Europa League.

And Mourinho could not resist a subtle dig at his former charge by saying that Casillas now has the chance to win a trophy he has not won before.

"There's no story with Casillas”, the Chelsea boss was quoted as saying by Spanish daily Marca.

“It's a great opportunity for Iker to win the only cup that he has not yet won."

Casillas, who progressed through Real Madrid’s youth set-up before making his first-team debut for the club in 1999, helped the Spanish giants to three Champions League trophies and five La Liga titles amongst other honours.
