The Whites and Marcelo Bielsa were expected to add excitement to the Premier League when they were promoted last season and they have more than lived up to that billing.

The Whites have continued to play football on the front foot and are 12th in the league table on 14 points after ten league games.

Dorigo stressed that Leeds are where he expected them to be at the start of the season and feels the positive is that they are closer to the teams in the top half of the league table than those struggling at the bottom.

He is sure that Leeds will continue to look ahead and above them if they continue to hold on to their level of performances and comfortably finish mid-table at the end of the season.

Dorigo said on LUTV: “I said that at the end of the season we would be 12th or 13th and looking upwards to mid-table.

“We seem to be exactly that at this point, however, we are actually quite close to fifth or sixth, which is nice.

“We need to keep going as we are and start looking upwards and see who we can catch.

“I think it’s quite clear that if we played like we have in those first ten games and continue that form until the end of the season, we are mid-table and looking up.

“I think we are going to be okay.”

Leeds beat Everton last weekend and will be looking for an even bigger scalp this weekend when they travel to Chelsea.
