Chris Wilder’s side are set to lock horns with Manchester United, who are unbeaten in their last five Premier League games, at Bramall Lane on Thursday.
Sheffield United currently sit bottom of the table with just one point to their name and will be keen to earn three points when the Red Devils visit.
However, Blades defender Baldock is aware of the threat posed by Manchester United, who he feels can beat anyone when they are in form.
Baldock also pointed out that the visitors have some top players in their ranks, but insisted that Sheffield United are yearning to make amends for last season’s 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford and kickstart their own campaign.
“Different clubs, different expectations, different pressures“, Baldock told a press conference.
“They can beat anyone in the world on their day and have some top players.
“They could be in the group stages of the Champions League and in the top three or four.
“We know they’re a fantastic team.
“We had a tough time after lockdown at Old Trafford when we didn’t get near them and we’re itching to get out there to make amends for that, and also kickstart our season.“
The Blades will be hoping to cause an upset and beat Manchester United to earn their first victory of the campaign on Thursday.
