Marcelo Bielsa’s side will be looking to get their second Premier League win of the season and move away from the relegation zone when they visit Norwich on Sunday.

The Canaries currently sit bottom of the Premier League table with just two points and former Leeds star Prutton has stressed the need for the Whites to put them to the sword at Carrow Road.

Prutton explained that the clash with Norwich is a must-win game for Leeds, but insisted that it will not be a walk in the park for the Yorkshire-based club.

You can absolutely call Sunday’s clash at Norwich City a must-win game for Leeds United“, Prutton wrote in his Yorkshire Evening Post column.

It’s huge. When it comes to survival, Norwich are going to be right in that mix of teams who Leeds need to take points from.

This is the ruthless side of what league competition is all about and putting Norwich to the sword has to be the next port of call.

Given Norwich’s 7-0 defeat at Chelsea last weekend, it’s got to be a game in which Leeds fancy themselves but it won’t be a walk in the park.

Prutton explained that Norwich are being written off by many, but pointed out how they fared well in the Championship and went on to warn Leeds against underestimating them on Sunday.

People are taking pot shots at Norwich left, right and centre which is part and parcel of being where they are“, Prutton added.

But they were awesome in the Championship last season, a thing of beauty to watch.

You can’t stress enough how good they were but they are finding it extremely difficult in the Premier League which just shows how tough it is.”

While Leeds travel to Carrow Road looking for their second Premier League win of the season, Norwich will be hopeful of getting their first three points on the board.
