The Argentine has been on one-year-rolling contracts at Leeds since taking over in 2018 and he is currently in his fourth season at the club.

Bielsa only has five months left on his current deal at Leeds, and prefers to renegotiate his contracts every summer.

But Leeds are preparing for the eventuality of Bielsa drawing the curtains on his spell in Yorkshire and have already identified a number of names as potential replacements.

However, the Whites boss has remained coy on his future at Elland Road and insisted it is a subject for another time.

Asked about his future at Leeds, Bielsa told a press conference: “It’s not a subject which we should talk about in this moment.”

No decisions have been taken regarding Bielsa’s future at the club at present and he could still stay for yet another season.

Bielsa is currently preparing his side to take on arch rivals Manchester United at home on Sunday as they continue to search for wins in the Premier League to get as far away from the relegation zone as possible.
