The Whites are in desperate need of points having failed to take any in their last five games in the Premier League.

They were unlucky to be beaten narrowly by Leicester City in what was new manager Jesse Marsch’s first game in charge at the weekend.

Now as they prepare to take on Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa side, Dorigo feels that a win is not a must, though they need to make sure that it is at least a draw.

However, in that case, the game against Norwich City would become a must-win, with Leeds needing to get four points from the six available.

“It’s not a must-win against Aston Villa, but I would put Sunday down as a must-win, absolutely”, Dorigo said via the Yorkshire Evening Post.

“Four points out of six is the minimum for me.

“If you do get a reversal against Aston Villa your world doesn’t fall apart because there’s still plenty of games to go.

“The performance against Leicester City and the confidence it will bring is really important but there does come a point when all of that has to turn into results and points.”

Leeds are currently placed just two places above the relegation zone, leading Burnley by two points, though they have played a game more.
