Back-to-back wins have put Leeds in a good position to survive in the Premier League this season and plan for the future.

Leeds are still focused on not being relegated but plans are being put in place for their recruitment in the summer transfer window.

Orta and his team have been scouting potential targets and Marsch revealed that a meeting is scheduled with the Leeds director of football next week to discuss potential transfers.

The Leeds boss stressed that he will give his input and no player will be signed if everyone is not on the same page, but is confident that Orta and his team will do their jobs.

Marsch said in a press conference: “Victor and I have a scouting meeting next week. Had discussions already.

“Not sure how it worked with Marcelo Bielsa, but my role is to be the manager and then we have Victor Orta and his scouting team.

“I like to give profiles of the players I like. I trust them to do their job diligently before we make decisions together.

“Everyone needs to be fully aligned when a player arrives.”

Marsch admitted that Leeds’ focus will be on strengthening their attack in the summer and the club especially need a centre-forward.

“We have some talented strikers. Flexibility with all our players up front.

“May need another attacker or two and one nine in particular. I will speak about it next week.”
