The Glasgow giants are on the back foot in their Europa League quarter-final tie after losing 1-0 in the first leg at Braga.

Rangers are confident about turning the tie around when Braga visit Ibrox on Thursday night for the second leg, as they look to advance in the competition.

The Gers are in the quarter-finals of the Europa League for the first time since reaching the final in 2008, but Van Bronckhorst and his side are not prepared to bow out of the competition yet.

He stressed that it is a massive opportunity for Rangers to reach the semi-finals and wants all the focus to be on the game.

The Rangers boss wants his team to embrace the challenge and enjoy the occasion at Ibrox on Thursday night.

The Dutchman said in a press conference: “I’m focusing on tomorrow, which is an opportunity to reach the semi-finals of Europe.

“We are taking it a game at a time.

“We will enjoy tomorrow and embrace the challenge.

“We know what the task is and which areas we can improve, we will be ready for tomorrow.”

Rangers are coming into the game on the back of a commanding 4-0 win over St. Mirren in the Scottish Premiership.
