The Bundesliga side are gearing up to play Scottish giants in the final of the Europa League on 18th May at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.

Both Frankfurt and the Gers are aiming to end their respective lengthy trophy droughts in Europe, with both finalists having sprung some upsets in the competition to earn a shot at glory.

Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Krosche has lauded Rangers as a great team, but stressed his team will not do anything other than what they normally do as part of preparations ahead of locking horns with the Scots.

“Rangers are a great team”, Krosche said on BILD’s Die Lage der Liga XXL show.

“But we won’t do anything differently in preparations for the final.

“Our coaching team have been excellent with their preparations for all of our opponents so far.”

Krosche added that playing in the Europa League final will also go a long way in helping Frankfurt’s growth not just on the sporting side, but in enhancing the overall image of the club.

“It [the final] will be extraordinary.

“These are experiences that you won’t forget.

“This final will be a milestone, and not just in terms of the sport.

“It will help us in general in terms of the future direction of the club.

“Not only from the sporting side, but also how our fans are presented, that is a huge added value for our image.”

Rangers got past German opponents in the shape of Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig en route to the Europa League final and fans will be hoping Frankfurt will also be added to that list in Seville.
