The Gers have landed in Seville ahead of their Europa League final against Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium midweek.

Backed by the incredible support of their fans both away and at home and under the guidance of Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Rangers have defied the odds en route to the final and are now aiming to go all the way to end their lengthy European trophy drought.

And Rangers star McLaughlin believes that his side are more than good enough to beat Frankfurt on merit in Wednesday’s showdown.

McLaughlin stressed that Rangers have proven that they are capable of beating top class teams in Europe this season and are now going into the final full of confidence and belief.

Asked how important is for Rangers to be confident going into the final, McLaughlin told Rangers TV: “Of course, it is massive to go into a game truly believing you are good enough to win it.

“The team have shown that there is no opponent in this competition to fear.

“[We have] taken some massive opponents home and away.

“So, we will be going into this game full of confidence, full of belief, full of respect for the opponent, who have done the same.

“So, we know that, but we have got that belief that we are more than good enough to go and win this game on merit.”

Frankfurt boast an undefeated record in the Europa League this season, one which Rangers will be determined to rewrite come Wednesday in one of the biggest games in their history.
