Hagi suffered a season-ending injury in January, rupturing his cruciate ligament against Stirling in a Scottish Cup clash which resulted in him having to go under the knife.
The 23-year-old was not the only Gers star to be sidelined during the business end of the 2021/22 campaign as striker Morelos and defender Helander were also forced to watch on from the sidelines.
Van Bronckhorst revealed that the Rangers trio are all doing well on their respective paths to recovery with Helander even being part of training sessions at the club’s warm weather camp in Portugal.
The Gers boss added that Hagi is in Portugal for a week to be part of the training camp, following which he will return to the Netherlands where he will continue his rehab.
Asked about how the likes of Morelos, Helander and Hagi are doing in terms of fitness, Van Bronckhorst told Rangers TV: “Yes, Filip is doing really well.
“He already had played part in the sessions we had here in Portugal.
“So, I think his recovery is going really well.
“For Alfredo as well, he did not take part in our sessions but is working hard to be back as soon as possible.
“And of course, Ianis is having his rehabilitation in Holland but it is good to have him here with us again for a week.
“His recovery is going as planned.
“So, he will return to Holland and make sure he proceeds to getting back to [being] fit soon as well.”
Both Hagi and Helander are expected to return to the pitch for Rangers next season, while Morelos’ future at the club is under the scanner, as he is linked with an exit this summer.
