Fabio Paratici has held talks with Roma over the potential of taking the Italy international to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.

Spurs have not made an offer but the two clubs are in talks, with more to come next week, and Antonio Conte is interested in signing the player.

However, the two clubs are far apart in terms of the valuation of the player with Spurs feeling Roma are overpricing the winger.

It has been claimed that Spurs do not agree with Roma’s £50m asking price for the Italy winger this summer.

The north London club feel that he should not cost more than £40m, despite his talent and reputation in Italy.

His form last season was hit and miss and Zaniolo has already suffered two serious knee injuries in his career.

Spurs are also focused on moving on players at the moment and are in no hurry to get a deal done for Zaniolo, with the window remaining open until 1st September..
