Adams admitted that Bamford’s arrival turned the tide in the Whites’ favour while adding that the team still have faith in their first-choice centre-forward.
The American believes that Bamford can take plenty of confidence from the game for his impact despite not breaking his Premier League duck this season and put away the chances coming his way in the future.
“No, not at all, I mean, I feel for him [Bamford] a little bit but he came into the game and completely changed the game so he should have confidence moving forward that when he’s in these situations, especially in front of the goal, he’s going to put them away”, Adams said via Leeds’ official site.
“The team has complete confidence in him, so yeah, he’ll get one.”
Leeds dropped to 15th place in the Premier League table and will travel to the King Power Stadium on Thursday to take on 19th-placed Leicester City next, with just four points between them.
