Leeds are looking at a successor for Jesse Marsch and have landed on Slot as a potential candidate to fill the role.

However, Slot is enjoying a good season with Feyenoord, being top of the Eredivisie, in the last 16 of the Europa League and in the quarter-finals of the Dutch Cup, with a chance for the campaign to be a treble-winning one.

For Jordan, however, moving to Leeds would only come with benefits for Slot, the first of which would be economical as the Whites would provide better pay than the Dutch club.

Secondly, the ex-Crystal Palace owner thinks if Slot manages to keep Leeds up, he will be at a club that is destined for exciting things in the near future.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Jordan said: “Economically, the Premier League and Leeds, even if they got relegated, would be a better option than managing in the Dutch league because they’ll pay much more money.

“And B, if he gets it right with Leeds United, he’s got a powerhouse of a side that’s about to be taken over potentially by American owners that are going to push it on to the next level.

“So you can’t argue against it, you can’t argue against the irresistibility of it.”

If Slot decides to move to Leeds, he will trade in a title fight for a potential relegation battle and his only chance of a trophy will be the FA Cup, where the Whites are in the fifth round.
