The Yorkshire outfit, now back in the Championship, are yet to announce the permanent successor to Sam Allardyce at Elland Road.

Several managers have been linked with the job, including Carlos Corberan, Scott Parker, Patrick Vieira and Daniel Farke.

49ers president Paraag Marathe and Leeds CEO Angus Kinnear have interviewed several candidates for the job and they will soon make a decision.

It has been claimed that every interviewee has been guaranteed that they will have a firm say on Leeds’ summer transfer window to reshuffle the squad.

Several first team players are expected to leave Leeds this summer and clubs all across Europe are monitoring Whites players.

The new manager will have a tough task on his hands to rejig the squad and get them straight back up in the Premier League.

And it has been suggested that Leeds want to announce their new manager by the end of this week, but the clock is ticking on that timeframe.
