The Whites have concluded the interview process for the identification of their new manager with incoming chairman Paraag Marathe playing a key role.

Daniel Farke is the overwhelming favourite to become the next Leeds manager given his experience of getting Norwich promoted to the Premier League.

But there is restlessness around the fanbase as with only days left before pre-season starts, Leeds are yet to make an announcement.

And it has been claimed that a new manager is unlikely to be announced until the 49ers officially take charge.

Andrea Radrizzani is the Leeds chairman despite the Italian long checking out from the role after selling Leeds to the 49ers.

Marathe will replace him but the EFL are still sorting out the paperwork and are yet to give their approval to the takeover.

Once the new chairman and the board are officially in charge, Leeds are expected to announce the name of the new manager.
