Manager Sean Dyche is reshaping his squad for the challenges ahead of next season and he is looking to strengthen the Toffees’ defence in the ongoing transfer window.
Everton are monitoring AC Milan’s left-back Ballo-Toure as they have identified him as a potential summer signing.
They are not the only Premier League club keen on the left-back, with Fulham the side who have been making the running for Ballo-Toure of late.
However, Fulham are not a destination that pleases the defender and he has knocked them back, according to Sky Italia.
Ballo-Toure, who Fulham saw a bid of around €4m for accepted, has turned the Cottagers down as he is not sold on Fulham’s project.
He has been a bit-part player for the Serie A giants, featuring in only ten games for them in Serie A last season.
However, Ballo-Toure would welcome the chance to try to nail down a spot at the San Siro next term.
It remains to be seen whether Everton can also have a bid accepted and then convince the left-back with a better project to leave the Rossoneri.
