Manchester United have already signed Mason Mount and Andre Onana in the ongoing window and are on the verge of bringing in their third new signing.

They have a deal in place with Atalanta to sign Hojlund for an initial fee of €75m and another €10m in add-ons.

The striker was in England last week for Atalanta’s friendly against Bournemouth but returned to Italy with the rest of the squad.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, the forward will take a flight out of Italy to England this afternoon.

He will arrive in Manchester later today to undergo a medical with the Red Devils ahead of the proposed transfer.

Personal terms are already in place and the Dane will sign a five-year contract with an option of another year worth €5m per season.

Hojlund could make his debut on Saturday when Manchester United take on Lens in a pre-season friendly.
