Harrison, 26, joined Leeds initially on loan, then on a permanent basis in 2021 and helped the side win promotion to the Premier League.

He could not help Leeds avert relegation last term and was keen on leaping overboard in the ongoing transfer window due to a clause in his contract.

Aston Villa were keen on landing Harrison but Everton beat the Villans to the winger’s signature and Firpo revealed that in his view, Leeds are losing a “superman”.

The Leeds left-back revealed that he has never seen a player with a work ethic as good as Harrison’s and is sure the Whites will miss him.

Will miss you, superman!”, Firpo replied to a post Harrison posted on Instagram.

Best work ethic that I have ever seen, VAMONOS.”

Everton do not have an option to buy Harrison as part of the loan deal, but are tipped to try to turn his move into a permanent one at some stage.

It remains to be seen when Harrison will make his Everton bow as he is currently out injured.
