The Reds are looking to bring in more midfielders before the transfer window shuts after losing Fabinho and Jordan Henderson.

After losing out on Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo, Liverpool signed Wataru Endo from Stuttgart recently.

They are keen on snapping up Fluminense midfielder Andre too, but pulling off a move now looks to be a tough ask for the Reds.

The Brazilian club rejected a €30m bid for Andre from Liverpool on Tuesday night.

And Fluminense have told Liverpool that even if they increase their bid for Andre, the player will not be sold now.

With the Brazilian season in full swing, Fluminense are determined that they will not lose their midfield gem in the middle of it.

Fluminense boss Fernando Diniz considers Andre an integral part of his side and is also likely to be opposed to the sale.

With Liverpool needing to sign another midfielder now, it has been suggested if they cannot land Andre then they will not return for him in 2024.
