The Premier League giants have sent their chief negotiator to Italy to finalise a deal to sign the midfielder on deadline day.

Fiorentina rejected a loan offer earlier this week for Amrabat but the player has been clear about only wanting to join Manchester United.

He has rejected offers from Fulham, Nottingham Forest and clubs from Saudi Arabia in order to wait for the Old Trafford outfit.

It seems his patience is set to pay off as according to French outlet Foot Mercato, an agreement is close to being agreed upon between Manchester United and Fiorentina.

A deal is being finalised that would see Amrabat move to Old Trafford on an initial loan deal.

Manchester United will have an option to make the move permanent and the two clubs are finalising the details of the agreement.

The Red Devils have a private jet ready for Amrabat to fly out to England to complete the move before tonight’s transfer deadline.
