Everton have battled against relegation in recent season and only narrowly stayed up in the Premier League last term.

 

This season, Everton have yet to register a victory in the Premier League, as they have only picked up one point from their four games.

 

 

 

Morrison believes that Everton are set to face a difficult relegation struggle this season and stated that he is worried about their hopes of staying up.

 

He admitted that he likes their new summer signing Beto and believes that Everton’s home form will ultimately play a key role in deciding their future.

 

 

“I think it is going to be a struggle for the likes of Luton and Sheffield United; they always knew it was going to be a struggle coming up to a hard league”, Morrison said on BBC Radio 5 live.

 

“It is difficult even for Everton, who I worry about.

 

 

“They need Dominic Calvert-Lewin fit.

 

“I like Beto’s signing; I do like him, but I worry for Everton.

 

“I do worry for Everton, but I think their home form will decide [their fate].”

 

Everton are in the bottom half of the league table and they are set to take on Arsenal on Sunday at Goodison Park.
