Like last term, the Merseyside outfit are struggling to find the net this season and they are sitting in the relegation zone with one point from five matches.

They have so far scored two goals in the Premier League this term and Campbell stressed that Dyche’s side need to sharpen their attacking tools.

The former Everton attacker further added that Dyche needs to find a way to play Beto and Calvert-Lewin in a pair instead of advancing with a lone-forward approach.

Comparing the partnership between Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison, Campbell also insisted that Beto’s potential pairing with the English star will help the side eventually.

Sean Dyche has got to be more attacking”, Campbell said on BBC Radio 5 live.

He needs to find a way of getting Beto and Dominic Calvert-Lewin on the pitch.

I think they can play together.

“Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison caused havoc as a pair.

That will really help Everton get some results.

“You’ve got to use both guys.

Dyche was keen on bringing Beto to Goodison Park in a bid to provide cover for injury-prone forward Calvert-Lewin.

And amid the side’s poor conversion rate, it remains to be seen whether the Everton boss will tweak his formation to play both strikers together.
