Leeds have kept four clean sheets on the trot and have won three of their last five league games after a slow start to the season.

Their attack has been looking better with each passing game and their clean sheet record in the last few weeks is testament to Leeds’ defensive resilience.

Farke admitted that Leeds are in good form and they are enjoying it but insisted that they cannot afford to feel overconfident or overjoyed about their recent run of results.

The Leeds manager said in a press conference: “We know we are in a good shape, a good moment.

“We’re happy with the moment but we’re also not over the moon.

“There’s no time to be overconfident.”

Leeds will travel to the south coast to take on Southampton on Saturday and the Saints are in terrible form, losing their last four league games on the trot.

However, Farke believes it could be the worst time to face them as they will be extra prepared and motivated to get their season back on track this weekend.

“I couldn’t think of a worse time to play them.

“They’re there with four losses.

“If you have such a period, you look under every stone and at every detail.

“They’ll have done exactly this.”
