The Glasgow giants are in the process of bringing in a new manager after sacking Michael Beale last weekend.

Rangers have already met former Chelsea and Everton boss Frank Lampard and have also been in contact with former Gers star Kevin Muscat.

Former Monaco coach Philippe Clement has also been spoken to, but Rangers have two more candidates to speak to at the moment.

The Scottish giants are set to meet Jansen and Knutsen before finalising the appointment of a new manager.

Jansen has been impressive in the Netherlands where his AZ side are sitting second in the Dutch top flight.

The Dutchman would be interested in moving to Rangers if he is offered the job in the coming days.

Knutsen has also earned praise for his work at Bodo Glimt and would be keen on getting the opportunity in Scotland.

The Gers want to speak to both of them before delivering a final verdict next week.

Rangers want to complete the thorough process of speaking to everyone on their shortlist before finalising the appointment.
